Be Faithful

I read this quote at "Finding Love in Liberia".

"Adopting one child won't change the world, but for that one child, the whole world will change!"

I love it! The truth is, however, it does change the world...a teeny-tiny bit...and that's all we are called to do. Be faithful in the little things and the rest will follow. His hand is mighty.

    That is exactly my feeling about adoption. When we were in our long, painful adoption process, a friend of mine introduced me to the Starfish Story. It's definitely become a metaphor for the way I want to live my life. Instead of saying "I can't help them all" the focus is on "I can make a difference for THIS one."
